I really enjoy going out for lunch especially when it involves two wonderful friends. We were celebrating my recent retirement (yes, I will use any excuse) and we picked Luna’s Mexican Restaurant located at 307 W. Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Rd. Baytown. The service was pretty good, the waitress was not quite as attentive as I would have hoped. She did not come to check things often, but our chips and salsas were brought right away and our order was taken in a timely manner. Our waitress suggested that one of the ladies could order from the Lunch Menu and make a substitution to get exactly what she wanted, this was really a nice touch. I ordered what I always order: fajitas. When the meal arrived I was a little surprised that the skillet was not searing and there was no sizzle or steam, it was a little sad. Another thing that seemed different from all the many times I have enjoyed hot fajitas: there were no grill lines on the meat or any black marks, just plain meat. In spite of all this the taste was very flavorful and I really like it. My dining companions told me they really enjoyed their meals and found them very tasty.
